The information in the economic development section of this site provides general
development data on buildable commercial and industrial sites within the Village
of Carpentersville. Included is information on location, acreage, zoning,
whom to contact, and unique features that may be associated with each individual
site. Various photos of the site are included to provide a visual reference
point. The Village of Carpentersville is committed to providing any assistance
in site location necessary to put the "right use" in the "right
location." The Village is strategically located in the Fox Valley
approximately 35 miles northwest of Chicago. There are three major north-south
arterials that traverse the community: Illinois Route 25, Illinois Route
31 and Randall Road. All three provide access to the I-90 Interstate (Northwest
Tollway) just a short distance to the south.
The Village owns and operates its own water and sanitary sewer
facilities. In fact, Carpentersville can boast that it
has some of the best water in the entire state of Illinois
as determined by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency
(IEPA).
The Village is also located within the highly-rated Community
Unit 300 School District 300.
