Remember if you have moved or changed your name, you must re-register to be eligible to vote.

You may also download an application from the Kane County Clerk's website and mail the completed form to the County Clerk's office.

A new law was signed effective January 1, 2014 that states "a person who is 17 years old on the date of a primary election and who is otherwise qualified to vote, is qualified to vote at that primary, including voting an absentee, grace period, or early voting with respect to that primary, if that person will be 18 years old on the date of the immediately following general election". If you are 17 years old and you will turn 18 before the November General Election then you are eligible to vote in the Primary Election as a 17 year old. However, you must meet the Voter Registration Requirements indicated under Voter Registration on this page.
