Retail With a Mission…
ReStore
is a 40,000 sq. ft retail center that accepts donated home improvement
and building supplies from individuals, retailers, contractors,
distributors and manufacturers and then sells them, at great prices, to
the general public. ReStore’s operations generates funds to support the
local home building program of Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox
Valley, while also reducing the amount of building materials that would
otherwise go to overflowing landfills.
ReStore concept is a win/win situation for all involved. Those that
donate material get tax deductions, the knowledge they are supporting a
worthy cause and that they are helping the environment by keeping tons
of usable building materials from the landfill. Those purchasing the
material are getting quality home improvement supplies at prices that
they otherwise might not be able to afford. And, finally, Habitat is
able to build more homes, strengthen families and improve the community
for everyone.
